She’s also a partner in Terms and Conditions, a legal boutique specialized in Digital Law. She is the Lastly, Veronic is also co-author of the legal book entitled “Legal Guide for a Startup”.

Sabrina acts as a pioneer in the German organization with regard to Legal Tech topics. She works closely with the London and German innovation teams at Simmons & Simmons in order to encourage lawyers to embrace legal tech. For her own team, Sabrina developed the fund due diligence platform Parzival. 

Contributions to Legal Tech

Parzival started as a database and within two years was developed in a tool by which due diligence reports can be created by an automatization tool. Parzival was launched internationally within the firm and gained support from the headquarter in London as well as the senior management. Sabrina and a team of junior lawyers and the innovation team are currently working towards adding a data intelligence tool to the platform which will collect data from all private funds teams of the firm globally.

In addition, Sabrina is currently creating a tool with BRYTER by which junior lawyers and the business departments of clients will be able to perform a red flag due diligence on the eligibility of target funds for German regulated investors via a decision tree tool in order to speed up negotiations with potential asset managers. 

Furthermore, Sabrina and the German innovation team successfully created an internal event series named “Legal Tech Insight” during which external legal tech service provider and service provider Simmons is already collaborating with, present their tools and solutions in order to encourage the German legal teams to use legal tech and create their own tools.

Charlotte Gerrish

Charlotte is a lawyer (Solicitor of England, Wales & Ireland) and registered at the Paris Bar (98/5/EC), and was previously a registered Company Lawyer in Belgium. She recently obtained a Masters from Uppsala University in Intellectual property Law, with a distinction in her thesis. She founded her law firm Gerrish Legal less than 5 years ago in Paris and specializes in assisting international start-up businesses with commercial and data privacy matters. Charlotte also tutors on an international commercial law master’s in a Scottish University while also running her law firm.

In 2019, Charlotte published a White Paper examining legal tech which builds template contracts, and the factors to be aware of as a client using such service. She provided this white paper free of charge online, and also offered a special offer for a template contract for any stakeholders concerned.

Charlotte has recently been published in the Legal Tech Textbook, considering how the law can be adapted in order to keep up with legal tech advances, and encouraging stakeholders to use legal tech to their advantage. She offers free and accessible content and advice online to third party websites considering the uses AI can have in the law and engaging in discussions with other parties. 

Charlotte is passionate about providing innovative legal tech that not only benefits law firms, but all stakeholders. Charlotte advises clients on legal issues whilst helping them develop their technology so that they can innovate whilst remaining legally compliant. Further, she publishes free legal tech guidance, which helps clients discover cost effective solutions and remain transparent about pricing – a major concern for many clients.

As executive director of the RGC Manager GmbH & Co. KG, she deals with the conception and design of digital legal service products – today regularly referred to under the keyword Legal Tech – in the area of ​​legal compliance. Today, one of the main areas of expertise in the law firm RITTER GENT COLLEGEN, which specializes in an energy-intensive industry, is the legal framework for electromobility. Other areas of her work are legal content management and content strategy as well as marketing in the broader sense, e.g. with digital tools developed by her company, such as content portals and apps.

Franziska has taken legal compliance to a new level in the areas of energy, environment and safety. The combination of automated individual flow of information to the customer via web-based compliance software, which includes a duty management, with individual legal advice from lawyers, where automation and artificial intelligence do not (yet) lead to the goal, is unique in this form.

As a Transform Ambassador, she plays a vital role in bringing Transform techniques to NRF’s local teams and has a leading role in their Associate Development Camp, being the only Associate lecturer amongst Partners. Further, Lena independently developed the NRF Litigation Manager.

The NRF Litigation Manager is an organization and visualization tool for handling high volumes of litigation cases with automated legal reporting to clients. Through a fully automated case creation and status determination based on defined KPIs, an individually configured status report can be sent to the clients. The visualization tool visually prepares the status of proceedings and transmits them in user-friendly dashboards.
