Linn Alfredsson is a tech lawyer and legal tech star in Sweden. With a background at one of the largest retail companies in the world, a double master within law and technology, and her tech savviness she has quickly become someone to count on in the legal tech field. She is one of Sweden’s most prominent advocates for legal tech and drives initiatives such as Tech Academy Nordic to enhance tech literacy for the next generation of lawyers. She has a passion for AI and the legal aspects such as competitiveness with data and data as an asset including privacy.
Contributions to Legal Tech
Linn has been ranked as the top talent within legal tech both in 2019 and 2020, shortlisted as an advocate of the year in 2020 by Women in Tech Nordic and finalist as IT woman of the year in 2020. With her passion and drive, Linn has managed to create a community for law students setting up educational programs including webinars and workshops during the COVID-19 to stay connected within legal tech in the Nordic countries. She is a force of nature and a leading advocate within legal tech. She is changing the industry from the inside.
Since 2018 she has been focusing on lobbying for more tech education for law students and her initiatives have just grown through the years. Tech Academy Nordic is the main focus this year and has one of the largest growing legaltech student communities in the Nordics. She has been nominated and shortlisted for awards in the US, the Nordics as well as in Sweden and is a star within legal tech.
Further, Linn is currently a part of the innovation team at her law firm trying to enhance tech literacy for lawyers and piloting the newest hyped tools on the market. She is a part of the implementation process and ensures that all lawyers are adapting well to technology efficiency. She also frequently lectures within AI and the law, blockchain, and legal tech. Together with her Hailey team, developing new tools within the legal tech and her educational programs, she is a strong asset in the legal tech community.
Finally, with her never-ending thrive, Linn is an advocate for more women in tech and specifically more female lawyers in tech. She inspires young lawyers to be daring and try new ways of looking at the legal industry.
