Bio

After studying law at the University of Potsdam, Alisha obtained a master’s degree in European Private Law at the University of Amsterdam and later completed the Design Thinking programme at the Hasso Plattner Institute. During her legal clerkship in Berlin Alisha co-founded “This is Legal Design”, an innovation agency for legal services. As a trainee for Flightright, one of the most relevant European legal tech companies for consumer rights, Alisha discovered legal tech as a field with huge potential to modernize the legal market. She later became Head of Legal Innovation at Flightright. Alisha now works as Head of Legal Innovation at the digital employment law firm Chevalier and is chairwoman of the German Legal Tech Association (Legal Tech Verband Deutschland e.V.).

Contributions to Legal Tech

Alisha is not gadget-focused. Instead, she focuses on the consumer/client-perspective and builds solutions from there. That user-centered approach takes legal tech to another value creating level. As co-founder of “This is Legal Design” she helps law firms, startups and legal departments to build digital products and services that users need and want.

In her position as Head of Legal Innovation for Chevalier, she keeps improving the customer experience of employees who lost their job being represented by a digital law firm. Lastly, as chairwoman of the German Legal Tech Association Alisha pursues a vision of a modern legal market that allows all relevant stakeholders to offer desirable legal services. In order to achieve that, she fights for an innovation friendly legal framework in Germany.
